Ticketing Help Page
All Pentic products are designed to be durable and simple to use, we don't get too many calls from people experiencing problems, but the queries we most often get are:
Help! my ticket has broken
If this is the case, just return the damaged item with a note of the circumstances. If the breakage happened during normal use we will gladly replace the item.
How do I clean my tickets?
This is an easy one, we would advise you to only clean our products in 'Hand Hot, Soapy Water'. Please do not use aggressive detergents, bleaches or abrasive cleaners. These can adversely affect the printing on the tickets or the plastic surfaces of the holders, it is particularly important for our many clear products.
Do I need to price using metric units?
YES!!!!! Loose products sold from bulk (non prepacked) must be sold by reference to metric units from the 1st January 2000
You will however be permitted to show both Metric & Imperial units until the year 2010 when only metric units will be allowed.
We have Metric only Price Albums and 'Dual Pricing Albums' for use with our Personalised Ticketing Systems. Dual Price Albums show the metric price together with the equivalent imperial price. These will help reassure and educate the customer as they get used to unfamiliar pricing units.
All produce Rollerbarkers now come with additional Metric designations.
Queries about Food Labelling Regulations
The regulations for the United Kingdom are very complex, they also vary for different products. All of our standard tickets comply with current regulations but queries can arise for those who make their own products regarding ingredients, meat content etc. The best advice we can offer is to seek the help of your local trading standards officer. He/She is the person responsible for implementing the regulations in your area. Many local TS Offices are 'on line', have a look at tradingstandards.net which has links to local sites
